I just tried one of these and they taste good!!

Didn't bother with spenda and it tasted just fine. I could only
find fresh whipping cream [with 35.5% fat made from 100% fresh milk]. Will this do until I can find double cream?

Thanks for all your help Mark

Hi Andrics,
My current thinking on this would be a 'no'.
Post workout you want your protein absorbed as quickly as possible. A High-fat shake will slow the absorption down.
It's great any other time but not post-workout.
Hope that helps,
Mark

Thanks for the shake recipe. I am bookmarking your blog for my son who has just started weightlifting and has been complaining about not getting enough calories.

I should probably mail you direct on this one to avoid the risk of a big debate on which protein supplement is the best but out of curiosity which manufacturer have you settled with over the years?
Being quite thin I have been told to avoid certain proteins as they can be different in their uses i.e some are better for cutting/weight loss etc?

thanks.
