@Razor. There is a debate on the healthfulness of soy/soya, especially for men.
I don't think infrequent use would be a problem but the vast majority of your protein intake should be from animal sources.
Hopefully we'll know more on the soy issue definitively before too long.

Great recipe. Have you ever tried Lavash bread? I swear by the stuff. I had a hard time finding the mama lupes tortilla you spoke about. Check out the nutritional info on it. http://www.thedailyplate.com/nutrition-calories/food/josephs/lavash-bread

@Dustin. Either one is fine. BCAA's won't enhance results any more than your protein will. Either choice is good.
If you're already using protein, just stick with that.

Hey Mark, do you feel that taking amino acids before and after working out are beneficial. I already take a whey powder right after working out. Would it be worth it to buy some bcaa's??
thanks

Nice Idea, only thing to keep in mind with this is the sodium content, I think it's one of the highest in cheeses or it's up there. So if you eat alot of this like I did over the weekend and drink plenty of water the scales may go up slightly due to the water retention. But thats nothing to worry too much about.

Thanks

Yeah, I tried this once. It's pretty expensive for the serving size, IMNSHO, and pretty high calorie for the serving size too. Fine for you guys trying to bulk, not so good for me, 'cause I'd want to eat the whole block at once! I've never seen light halloumi in the US, so that might be a better option if you're like me and trying to lose but still interested in trying this dish.
