Ultimate Taco Salad Recipe - Easy!

taco salad recipeHere’s a delicious taco salad recipe for us MuscleHackers.

This is the proof that you don’t have to skip on taste to enjoy a high protein, low-carb lifestyle.

This taco salad recipe is suitable for the low-carb part of your carb-cycling diet.

Makes 1 or 2 servings depending on how hungry you are ;)

Ingredients

  1. 1/2 pound ground beef (mince)
  2. 1/2 packet taco seasoning (see package for quantity of water)
  3. 1 cup bell pepper strips
  4. 2 tablespoons salsa
  5. 4 cups loosely packed lettuce (romaine)
  6. 1 cup diced tomato
  7. 1 cup shredded pepper jack cheese
  8. 1/2 cup sour cream

Cooking

  1. Brown beef in a skillet
  2. Add taco seasoning (with water)
  3. Add peppers and salsa
  4. Cook until veggies are al dente (soft on outside, still a little hard on inside)

Serving

  1. Arrange your lettuce and tomatoes on a plate
  2. Spoon on your taco mixture
  3. Now add your cheese, sour cream and more salsa on top

Enjoy it! :)

    Hi Mark.
    Great a new recipe, I will be trying that. What is the total carbs in this after fibre deducted and I have a great recipe too where can I post this.
    Keep up the fantasic work you really do deserve a pat on the back you just dont run out of info well done mate.
